Foxboro Rotary Club Awards 13 Community Service Scholarships
The Foxboro Rotary Club proudly awarded 13 scholarships to Foxboro residents during its annual Scholarship Awards Dinner held on July 13. Since 1982, the Club has awarded scholarships every year , reflecting its long-standing commitment to supporting education and community service. Foxboro Rotary scholarships are available not only to graduating high school seniors, but also to adults returning to school, pursuing a new career, or learning new skills. What makes these scholarships unique is that recipients are selected primarily for their service to the community. The scholarships honor members whose tireless commitment to helping others left a lasting legacy, and each year the Club proudly remembers them while celebrating a new generation of community-minded leaders. The Foxboro Rotary Club would also like to recognize the parents and families of this year's scholarship recipients. This year's memorial scholarships were presented in honor of Jake Vinton, Harold Cohen, Tom Huddleston, Ken Gay, Anna May Gay, Ray Davies, Henry Heaton, Francis Gaudet, & Leo Norton.
